It walks exit, formation, systems, constriction, poverty as software, ignorance versus light, burdens and tolerance, crushed capacity and rest, nostalgia, Gilgal reproach, and a mind that can be the road back.

Each beat holds what Dan taught, then my teaching lined up with it. No numbered spiritual-levels ladder. Exit, formation, systems, rest, capacity, ministry, and God as source.
Egypt out of you
- God brought Israel out of Egypt in one night.
- It took 40 years to get Egypt out of Israel.
- Many are free legally and judicially through the gospel.
- Free on paper.
- Still owned in the imagination.
- Still capped by self-limiting beliefs.
- Still living inside walls that already came down decades ago.
- We got you out of Egypt.
- Now get Egypt out of you.
- You cannot pray your way out of a problem you behaved your way into.
- The gospel event is emancipation.
- Formation after the event is still a process.
- One night split the sea and broke Pharaoh's grip.
- Silver and gold in their hands by grace through faith.
- Then 40 years of wilderness to rebuild a mind.
I have taught this in Discovering Destiny. It took one night to get Israel out of Egypt. It took a wilderness to get Egypt out of Israel.
Some of you are not waiting on God to open the next door. God is waiting on the old mindset to die in the desert. The Israelites were dressed for war when they left Egypt.
They had the equipment but not the mindset. Freedom is an event. Being free is a process.
Their bodies left Egypt at midnight as free men and women, but their mindset was still bound. Two days of freedom, and they were already romanticizing about their chains. That is deliverance language for operators too.
Pharaoh vs the system
- Pharaoh was the man.
- Egypt was the system.
- God can remove the man.
- The system can still run inside you.
- Poverty is not omnipresent, omnipotent, or omniscient.
- Those attributes belong to God alone.
- Poverty colonizes minds with language, schooling, values, and a picture of what is possible.
- The colonizer leaves.
- The operating system remains.
- People pull their own strings and call it freedom.
- Romans 12: be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
- Not only the renewing of your circumstances.
I have taught the power of switching systems. A blessed man in the wrong system will make somebody else rich. A ceiling is not always over your head.
Sometimes it is over the system you are operating in. You can work hard for 20 years inside a system that was never designed to take you where God is taking you.
When you switch systems, your total reliance moves off of your ability and onto God's ability. Once He is your total source, you will never lack a thing. When you are Born-Again you have a new Spirit, but an old mind.
Your mind must be renewed in order to maximize your new reality. You will never consistently operate in God's supernatural power until your mind is renewed to expect it by faith and accept it by grace.
The man can be gone. If the old system is still running in your thinking, you will still operate capped.
Boxed in on purpose
- Dan links Egypt language to narrow, constricted, squeezed, distressed.
- Bottleneck imagery, not only a country on a map.
- Psalm 118:5: called from a narrow place, set in a broad place.
- The problem was width and constriction.
- God can relocate your body while your imagination stays measured by old walls.
- New job, old thinking.
- Bigger house, old budget.
- New location with old dimensions.
I have taught the dead end in Exodus 14. That position boxes you in. Water on one side.
Open desert on the other. The cloud that led them out had now led them to a dead end, and the dead end was not a mistake. It was an appointment.
God did not lead them around the dead end. He led them right to it. When God parks you in a boxed-in place, do not assume you missed Him.
He may be about to show His hand.
Bondage looks normal
- Exodus 6: God brings them out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
- Load-language sits close to tolerance-language.
- God removes weight and removes capacity to put up with tyranny.
- The deepest bondage is not only the day the load got heavy.
- It is the day you stopped noticing and called it just how it is.
- Numbers 11 nostalgia itemized Egypt's food as free.
- Memory kept flavors and edited out whips and brick quotas.
- There was nothing free about slavery.
- Exodus 13: God avoided the short road lest they return to Egypt.
- Joshua 5: decades later the reproach of Egypt is rolled away at Gilgal.
- The oppressor can be gone while shame still shackles.
- Hebrews 11: minds fixed on the old country keep a road back.
Pressure has a way of making old bondage look good, even though, deep down inside, you know it never was. They said it would have been better to serve the Egyptians. I have taught Jacob under Laban.
He was blessed and broke at the same time. The problem was never Jacob's work ethic. The problem was the system he was working inside of.
Under Law-thinking I have taught bondage as a surveillance system. There was no rest, no peace, no freedom. Just relentless pressure to perform perfectly under the watchful eye of a system that could only condemn, never praise.
That is bondage. Thankfully, Jesus and His grace set us free. Do not rename extracting systems as normal Christian entrepreneurship.
Rest when crushed
- Exodus 6: Moses brings the promise to bring out, deliver, redeem, and take them as His people.
- Exodus 6:9: they did not listen because of anguish of spirit.
- Dan frames crushed capacity as compressed ability to receive.
- God's signal can be strong while the hearer is too overloaded to take it in.
- Rest is not laziness.
- Sabbath recovers capacity so God's word is not heard as noise.
Rest is the highest form of faith. I call it sweatless victory. Rest is not laziness.
It is trust standing still with its hands open, letting God be God. Faith is God attempting to get you to rest in what has already been decided. You cannot be in faith until you know what God has already decided.
But once you know, you can rest. Once you enter into God's rest the pressures of the situation have no power. Having peace with God is one thing.
Having the peace of God is something else altogether. While you are working hard, the Father also wants you to have and enjoy an internal rest that keeps you from being stressed out and frustrated.
When you are in faith you are also in rest, knowing God already did what He said He was going to do. In God's rest, you do not take on the burdens or cares of this world. In this world it is normal to stress out about payroll.
In the kingdom you are supposed to live a different way.
Ability to manage
- Formation after emancipation is a process.
- Deliverance from Pharaoh can be one night.
- Deliverance from Egypt takes obedience over months and years of growth.
- Assignment: write down what you call normal that God never called normal.
- Fight tolerated weights.
- Install a kingdom Holy Spirit economy in the mind.
- Light displaces darkness by presence (John 1).
- Ignorance is not a demon.
- Some money gaps need deliverance by knowledge: compound interest, pricing labor, record keeping.
- Darkness yields to light.
- Ignorance yields to learning.
I teach the parable of the talents this way. Our God is a good steward, so He will not give us resources that He knows we are incapable of managing.
Many believers say they want more, but God will not release more until you are ready to manage more. If you are not managing the little you have well, do not think God will release more. God owns everything.
Whatever He entrusts to us, He expects us to manage as stewards. That is why I share this Patreon. I want you to grow in your ability to manage.
Yield to the Holy Spirit. Also grow your education, your systems, and your skill.
Business as ministry
- Ongoing deliverance belongs in the business realm, not only the sanctuary.
- Kingdom entrepreneurs need holy discomfort again.
- The talk is aimed at people who are free on paper and still capped in practice while they build.
You are called to ministry in the marketplace. God did not save you from a burning hell just so you can sing songs on Sundays. He wants you to represent Him where you have been planted, at work.
Marketplace ministry is no less of a divine assignment than ministry from the pulpit. The excellence you display at work can draw people to Jesus just as much as any sermon in church.
God has drawn countless people to Him through my performance in the United States Army, outside of church. You have something corporate America desperately needs: the power and presence of God. Do not compartmentalize your faith.
The Holy Spirit goes with you everywhere. I treat everything I do, including my business, as ministry.
People First
- God-focused practices: what God would want, and people, not only making a dollar.
- People-centered practices: engage people, support them, hold their hand until responsibility grows.
- Financial results improve when people are engaged, not ignored.
I am not just an entrepreneur but a man of God who happens to be in business. People First, Business Second. Recognize and minister to people in need before discussing business matters.
I prioritize my faith over securing contracts because I believe God is my source. God Above Success. Place your allegiance to God above any business success or professional recognition.
Keep God first. Take care of people. The business will come.
Sowing and reaping
- Mind renewal is deep unlearning of Egypt, not a patch repair.
- It is reconstitution.
- Write down false normals.
- Install a kingdom Holy Spirit economy in the mind.
In my intro I said the kingdom of God functions on sowing and reaping, not just buying and selling. I have taught that in Discovering Destiny. You can change your address, but you cannot outrun your harvest.
Jacob planted deception in Beersheba and harvested deception in Haran. Different country. Same seed.
Nobody puts money in the bank and then acts surprised when it shows up later. Isaac sowed in famine and harvested a hundredfold. Reliance moved off the ground and onto God.
While you buy and sell, sow and reap. Dedicate the business to God.
God is your source
- After the man is gone, stop pulling your own strings and calling it freedom.
- Light displaces darkness by presence.
- Ignorance yields to learning.
- Under hearing God's word, you are right on time.
God wants you to see Him as your source, period. No matter what your need, natural or supernatural, you must see and seek God as your source. When you get to the point where God is your only source, you will never lack resources.
People are not your source. God's provision is not just tied to your work. God's provision is tied to your faith.
Deuteronomy 8:18 still stands. The Lord gives you the ability to produce wealth. If God tells me to do something, I believe He can breathe on it.
I believe He can take the Egypt out of me.
Keep these close
Here is what I want you to see
Dan's talk and my teaching land in the same place. Exit is not enough. Mindset must change.
Wrong systems can keep a blessed person broke. Boxed-in seasons can be appointments. Old bondage can look good under pressure.
Rest is faith, not laziness. Capacity to manage gates release. Your workplace is ministry.
People come before the deal. Sow and reap while you buy and sell. God is your source.
That is Christian entrepreneurship.
That is Christian entrepreneurship. Exit is not enough. Mindset must change. God is your source.

I am checking where Egypt is still in my thinking as an operator. I am checking systems that extract while I call them normal. I am choosing rest when the world says panic about payroll.
I am growing ability to manage so more can be entrusted. I am treating Inspired Solutions as ministry. God first.
People First. Business Second. God as source.
