WHY I SHARED THIS VIDEO WITH YOU
You have the calling. You have the anointing. You may even have the prophetic word. What too many kingdom founders still lack is a built house.
I already shared GOSHEN's teaching on how to build a business with God. This message goes deeper on architecture. Proverbs 9. Seven pillars. Wisdom that builds instead of hustle that reacts.
The video is If God Has You Building a Business in 2026, Watch This from GOSHEN. I am curating it, not claiming it. I built this handout because your mentees need a worksheet, not just a sermon clip.
PROVERBS 9:1 — WISDOM BUILT HER HOUSE
This is not poetry for a vision board. It is business architecture.
- Wisdom built. Past tense. Completed action. She quarried stone and cut pillars.
- She prepared, mixed, set the table, and raised a team before she stood in the city and called.
- Sequence matters. Infrastructure first. Invitation second.
- Wisdom is a builder, not a mood, a vibe, or inspiration without structure.
WISDOM BUILDS, HUSTLE REACTS
Hustle pulls the fire alarm. Hustle answers the email that just came in. Hustle says yes because it fears the next opportunity will not show up.
- Hustle sprints from emergency to emergency and calls it leadership.
- Building produces offers, teams, systems, and a peaceful rhythm from quiet time with God.
- Your shift: stop building from reaction. Build from instruction.
- Before the next launch, hire, or offer: ask, is this a stone in the house God told me to build, or another tent peg in the chaos?
INSTRUCTION BEFORE BUILDING
Scripture repeats the same pattern. God gives the blueprint before He releases the build.
Most founders invert it: build first, then ask God to bless what they constructed in panic. Wisdom went up the mountain, received instruction, quarried stone, then cut pillars.
TENT VS HOUSE
If you cannot name your load-bearing pillars with specificity, you do not have a business. You have a tent with some revenue.
- A pillar is not a hope. It is structure that holds weight and transfers it to the foundation.
- A house without pillars is a tent. A house with weak pillars is a collapse waiting to happen.
- Reactive build = reactive operation. Hustle-built businesses require hustle to maintain.
- Pressure is coming. Economic, spiritual, relational. It will test every pillar.
SEVEN LOAD-BEARING PILLARS
GOSHEN maps seven practical pillars for kingdom business. Hew them from solid stone with intention.
PILLARS 1-4: OPS, TEAM, SERVICE, FINANCE
- Pillar 1 — CEO Operating System: Philosophy of business. How decisions get made. How priorities get set. How the week is governed. Not your inbox.
- Pillar 2 — Team: Leaders who own outcomes with real authority inside the house. Not just contractors and freelancers.
- Pillar 3 — Service/Offers: Productized, priced with wisdom, architected to scale without demanding your constant presence.
- Pillar 4 — Financial Structures: Solid bookkeeping, tax architecture, profit margins, personal/business separation, generosity rhythm.
PILLARS 5-7: SPIRITUAL, FAMILY, ASSIGNMENT
- Pillar 5 — Spiritual Life (hidden): Prayer rhythm, Scripture intake, Sabbath. Inner architecture keeps outer architecture from collapsing.
- Pillar 6 — Family: Household stewardship with intention. A business that costs family peace is a tent dressed as a house.
- Pillar 7 — Assignment Clarity: Why this business exists in the kingdom economy. The mandate that makes everything else meaningful.
BUILD THE HOUSE, THEN SEND THE TEAM
Wisdom did the deep work first. Then she sent her maidens. Most founders invert the order.
- Wrong order: over-hire before systems, market before architecture, team confused, clients dissatisfied.
- Right order: build house, hew pillars, set table, prepare the meal, then release team into marketplace.
- Delegation is not avoidance. It is the work only you can do: building the house that builds the team that carries the assignment.
STAGE VS HOUSE
Exodus 18, Jesus and the twelve, Solomon's twelve officers. Every wise builder multiplied through people.
HOW RICK CONNECTS THIS TO GRACE
- The anointing needs systems before multiplication. Structure is not the enemy of the supernatural. Read the premium guide →
- Centralized vision. Decentralized execution. You hew the pillars and set the blueprint. Leaders execute with authority. Workbook →
- Grace builds from rest, not panic. Instruction before activity. Identity before hustle. You discover the blueprint; you do not invent it in a fire drill.
- Think in systems about which pillar is weak. Systems thinking guide →
- Pillar 5 is your hidden grace anchor. Inner architecture (Word, prayer, rest) keeps outer architecture from collapsing under pressure.
INTERACTIVE SEVEN-PILLAR DIAGNOSTIC
Which pillars are hewn stone and which are still sketches? Saves in your browser.
YOUR KINGDOM BUSINESS CHECKLIST
- I watched the full video. Open video →
- I read Proverbs 9:1-6 as business architecture, not poetry only.
- I named where hustle reacts vs where wisdom builds in my week.
- I mapped the Noah/Moses/Solomon pattern: instruction before building.
- I assessed all 7 pillars honestly (hewn stone vs sketch).
- I checked Pillar 5 (spiritual) as hidden load-bearing architecture.
- I verified build-then-send order: house before marketing blitz or over-hiring.
- I ran the seven-pillar diagnostic and named one hewing action.
- I connected pillars to Rick's systems teaching (anointing + centralized vision).
- I declared faith over my business house and assignment.
