SPECIALIZED INTELLIGENCE

Every company is built on specialized intelligence. That intelligence is who you are. You cannot outsource that.

Intellectual property is intelligence. Your company is not good at everything. It is very good at one thing.
General skills can live in the cloud. Writing. Coding. Research. Those are foundational.
Specialized intelligence stays inside. How you serve that customer. How you run that P&L. How you lead that team.

Outsourcing that intelligence, whether you are a person, a company, or a country, makes no sense. You enhance it right here inside the company.

FRONTIER FIRST

Start with the frontier tools. Claude. Codex. The best model you can get. Then build specialized agents for the work only your company knows how to do.

Jensen starts with the frontier because it is useful and it shows you the ceiling fast.
You do not replace everything. Frontier models keep getting better. Keep using them.
Then you add super agents for one job: supply chain, chip design, your customer workflow. Not travel booking.

HARNESSES, NOT JUST PROCESSES

Today most companies are built on business processes. In the future most companies will be built on harnesses.

A harness turns a model into a product. Tools. Memory. Guardrails. Iteration until the job is done.
The model is the ingredient. The harness is how your company actually works.
All the pieces are now here. Model. Framework. Blueprint. Runtime. Security. There are no excuses not to engage it.

USE IT BEFORE YOU SPECIALIZE IT

Jensen does not wait for a perfect internal stack. He starts with the frontier. You should too.

Stop talking about AI. Open the tool this week and put it on a real problem.
Specialize as soon as it gets good enough. That trigger already fired.
Cost is not the excuse. Cheaper intelligence means you use more of it and search a larger space.

This week

Open Claude or Codex. Give it one live workflow you already understand. Do not build a lab. Do not wait for IT to finish a roadmap. Use it. Then specialize it.

YOUR COMPANY'S BRAIN IS NOT FOR SALE

General skills can live in the cloud. The specialized intelligence is the crown jewel. Build agents around THAT.

Writing, coding, research are general. Rent them when it serves the mission.
How you serve that customer, run that P&L, and lead that team is not for sale.
Specialized super agents become the company's crown jewels. Control them. Improve them. Keep them.

A company is a collection of super proprietary, super important workflows. That is who you are.

TREAT AN AGENT LIKE A NEW HIRE

You do not hand a new employee the keys to every file. Onboard them. Access. Tools. Mission.

"This is how we have done it. Now do it better." That is the skills file.
Jensen said we are basically building an HR system for AI. IT and the business units hire, improve, and deploy agents.
If you cannot govern it, you cannot deploy it. That is leadership, not fear.

Keep it a tool

Jensen: it is electrons, not atoms. No consciousness. It is software. Treat it like a dishwasher that used to be a person. Useful. Governed. Not worshipped.

AMBITION IS THE UNLOCK

Most people ask, "What did we used to do, and can we automate it?" Better question: "What could we not do before that we can do now?"

That is the Imagination level I taught in Charlotte. You get paid to think. AI raises the ceiling.
Jensen said the more AI they use, the more people they have to hire. New skills. New systems. New work.
Ambition and agency beat "automate the old pile of tasks."

The marketplace pays the level you operate at. AI does not shrink the leader. It exposes the leader who refuses to think bigger.
